HOUSE WINES

In 2010, Yankee Lady Cruises will be presenting the following wines as their regular bar selections. However, we would be happy to bring on board any wines that you would specifically like for your party. These are quality selections that will be a be sure to enhance your wedding, corporate and private party plans.

We’ve chosen 20 Bees and Dan Aykroyd’s wines for our house brands. These wines are one hundred percent home grown in Ontario’s Niagara region and are known for being great tasting.

White:
20 Bees Pinot Grigio VQA
A clear straw green colour; aromas and flavours of spice and citrus with light vegetal tones; dry, crisp, with balanced acidity on the finish. 11.7% Alcohol/vol.

Dan Aykroyd Chardonnay VQA
Medium straw in colour; aromas of red apple, ripe pear with floral, mineral notes; medium-bodied, it reveals flavours of red apple, ripe tree fruit with hints of vanilla on the palate ending with crisp acidity. 12.4% alcohol/vol. Sugar content: 1

Medium deep red violet colour; aromas of herb, black currant and cherry; dry, medium bodied with balanced acidity, rip tannins, flavours of red berry fruit, min and spice and a lovely leafy character. 12.2% alcohol/vol. Sugar content 1

Dan Aykroyd Cabernet Shiraz VQA
Fresh herb, spice, plum and red berry fruit aromas and flavours; dry, medium bodied, quite rounded on the palate with a refreshing finish. 13% alcohol/vol. Sugar content: 1
