When you book a charter on one of our
boats for your company or private party there are some basic things
you will have to think about? When booking your Toronto Harbour
cruise with Yankee Lady Cruises we will need you to make the following
decisions:
What time did you want the cruise? Whether
you have a 4 or 5 hour package, please note this is broken down
e.g. for a 5 hour: ½ hour boarding, 4 hours cruising, ½
hour disembarking time. So if it’s an evening cruise, for
example, you might want 7pm to midnight: 7-7:30pm boarding, cruise
7:30 to 11:30pm and disembarking from 11:30 to midnight. There
are no set times we cruise, so think about what works best for
your group. In general we prefer a day cruise to end by 5pm and
evening cruises to start at 6pm or later.
Do you need a receiving area on the dock?
We would be happy to supply a table dressed in linen and a chair
or two for your convenience. This area is great for checking in
guests, handing out name badges, etc.
What type of music do you wish to hear on your
cruise? Our DJ is on your cruise to supply the music you prefer,
whether it is just background or full-out dance music. We provide
a music profile for every
client to fill out. Once completed, return the music profile to
our office to pass on to your disc jockey. This form will also
let us know if you need the use of our on board microphone for
speeches, presentations, etc.
What do you want to eat? We have many great
menu options. And…we would
be happy to customize a menu just for you. Let us know whether
you wish buffet, plate or cocktail service. Furthermore, please
advise if any of your guests have special dietary requirements:
vegan, celiac, glucose intolerant, kosher, halal, etc
What type of bar are you having? Yankee Lady
is a liquor licensed establishment, and you have several options
to choose from. Check out the bar pricing
sheet and options for your choices.
Do you require any extra entertainment/décor
from us? At Yankee Lady Cruises we would be happy to help
you with some of your other details. Would you like a casino?
Some balloons? A Birthday Cake for someone special? Chair covers?
Boat Setup. We can provide you with floor
plans of the ship, as well as set up the ship a certain way depending
on your requirements. For example, the second deck may be cleared
and used for a one room casino.
Your boat cruise itinerary. In general, we
serve food about one half hour after setting sail. After that
the dancing begins. But if you are doing awards, or karaoke, or
have special speeches, please let us know what timeline you would
like to work with so we may be partners in providing you a memorable
cruise.
